Abstract :
Charge distributions in EPDM/ATH compounds were measured. Homocharge develops in a crosslinked pure EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) and the addition of ATH (alumina tri-hydrate) increases the homocharge due to the trapping of charge at the EPDM-ATH interfaces.
