  • Abstract
    A parametric approach to coordination in hierarchical control of large-scale systems is presented. A large-scale problem is decomposed into N ?? 2 subproblems each of which is suitably parameterized. A corresponding supremal problem is formulated. An iterative coordination algorithm that uses gradient information to update the coordination parameters is developed. Simple numerical examples are presented to illustrate the approach.
