Abstract :
We derive an effective electro-optic coefficient with respect to the elasto-optic contribution for a well-established geometric configuration of two-wave mixing. The calculations of an exponential gain coefficient are performed for extraordinary light beams with wavelength /spl lambda/=633 nm.
