Abstract
A compact in-line multichannel, 200 GHz apart, multiple-phase-shifted Bragg grating resonator based transmission filter exhibiting a 25 GHz wide bandpass with ripple smaller than 1 dB and 30 dB of return loss is reported. The number of phase shift sections is utilized to tailor the width and the ripple of the bandpass. Multichannel filter channels can be produced with N of such basic structures. The filter exhibits excellent features which are demanded by high-speed WDM systems
