  • Abstract
    This paper presents a genetic algorithm approach for load shedding in an industrial power plant with cogeneration in operation. Different scenarios requiring load shedding are discussed as well as the fundamentals of the genetic algorithm approach. A comparative performance of results obtained are discussed with that of a journal paper. Further investigations and conclusions made are discussed
