From making form to finding form: A new method of building form design

Traditional building form design methods have a clear and static target, but this article would discuss that nowadays the method of building form design changes from Making Form to Finding Form. Finding Form is a new method that architects do not have a clearer target, but there is a logical chain that contact with a variety of architectural elements of quantization. So this method can deal with very complicated architectural problem. And this paper also argues that Digital Technology is a key tool that supports the method of Finding Form. Because there are two advantages of digital tools: first, it can express architectural problem dynamically; Second, it can contact Form and Information closely.
