Abstract
A sub-picosecond electroabsorption experiment is used to study the properties of liquids in the THz range. We show how the deposition of a very small droplet of silicone oil (a few 10 μg) is sufficient to significantly shift the central frequency of the rejected band of a 800 GHz-Bragg filter integrated on a planar transmission line.
