Abstract
This paper presents a survey and different modelling approaches employed in context aware computing. A review of existing ontology based context models is also presented in this paper. Using evaluation criteria among the existing ontology based context models Context Broker Agent Architecture satisfies all the ontology engineering principles. This paper envisages new scope for context aware computing by including ontology based service discovery using Ontology Web Language for Services (OWL-S) in the existing context models.
