Abstract :
The nonlinear field contraction is a common feature for the second harmonic TE21 gyro-BWO. Besides, the electron transit angle is found to be applicable for the harmonic TE21 mode. The harmonic cyclotron interaction with an electron beam is found to be much more stable than the fundamental harmonic cyclotron interaction.
