Abstract :
This paper describes a proposal for new merit, denoted as TFCD-merit which is defined as throughput under proportionally fair capacity distribution. TFCD-merit is function of network topology, routing scheme and temporal capacity of all links in the network. In networks above 70GHz, where rain attenuation is predominant cause of link capacity degradation, cumulative distribution function of TFCD is suitable for overall network performances characterization in network planning. Example network performance in presence of moving rain cell is evaluated.
