Abstract :
The Multicarrier-Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) combines between the robustness against multipath environment and spectral efficiency of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) multicarrier transmission and the multiuser capability of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) which is reflected on the performance of the MC-CDMA. The performance of the MC-CDMA is affected by channel estimation type used to estimate the channel behavior. In this paper the Comb type estimation is investigated. The proposed Comb type channel estimation showed better performance of the MC-CDMA than that using IEEE802.11a Block type channel estimation.
