Abstract
In this paper we analyze the error performances of low density parity check (LDPC) codes in channel with Nakagami distribution of the fading envelope. We consider the Progressive Edge-Growth (PEG) method for the parity check matrix construction, which can be used to avoid short girths, small trapping sets and high level of error floor. The comparative analysis with a several classes of LDPC codes is also presented for various propagation conditions.
