Abstract
This paper adopts Data Envelop Analysis model to evaluate dynamically operational efficiency of 26 Chinese listed logistics corporations in light of the financial data during the period of 2008-2010. It is found that both pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are low and unstable, which lead to less desirable operation efficiency of listed logistics corporations although those in Western and around the Bohai Sea are comparatively high, and moreover operational efficiency of listed logistics corporations is effected by not only regional economy but also macroeconomic situation. Consequently, it is suggested that listed logistics corporations can improve pure technical efficiency through accelerating information collection and optimizing management mode, can improve scale efficiency by expanding business scope and business process reengineering, and can improve operational efficiency through policy supporting and learning experience.
