Abstract
Mobile solutions provide the opportunity for seamless integration of mobile field service engineers into the service processes resulting in new form of interaction between them and the dispatcher. In this paper, we describe the results of our study regarding the requirements of utilizing a mobile application in the area of industrial field service. After a brief description of the challenges these kinds of application shave to face and an overview of the utilized mobile service system architecture, we present the results of our usability study followed by a discussion.
