  • Abstract
    A novel digital power line carrier (P.L.C.) system called STE-D is presented. It has got many important advantages in comparison with the traditional analog power line carrier systems. In particular, the use of the modulation and coding technique is dramatically innovative and characterised by unique architectural and technological choices. In this paper, a detailed description of the STE-D equipment is reported.
