Abstract
This project reports the development of hardware and software for remote control of a digital factory controlled through Internet. A simple process chamber with four processes namely temperature, liquid level, pneumatic pressure and liquid flow is taken as example for the digital factory and its remote control and monitoring is attempted. The level and pressure are sensed and the flow is controlled interactively. Temperature also is sensed and ON-OFF control is exerted and it has a separate process control loop. In the absence of remote command the chamber runs by its own program set by the local micro-controller. When remote command is given it takes responsibility of controlling the selected parameters. The principle presented here for a simple model digital factory could be enlarged and extended for implementing a real complex process control system involved in large digital factory.
