Abstract :
The main way to construct China water conservancy and hydropower is cascade exploitation. So many significant projects are located in the west of our country. There exist a number of hazard factors such as steep terrain, complex geology, bad environment, high seismic intensity and so on, which can cause the destruction of these engineering and even threat to the entire cascade reservoirs system. In this paper, we use fault tree analysis to evaluate the reliability of single project, and then make further study on reliability of cascade reservoirs system by the knowledge of system engineering. Contacting with the result which has been calculated previously, the purpose intends to provide a reference for system analysis and optimization design in cascade reservoirs system.
