Abstract
Bonilla, Malabre and Acosta (1994) provided a synthesis procedure for the PID disturbance decoupling problem with stability, but they proposed only sufficient conditions and did not consider issues related to the number of required derivators (e.g. minimum). In this paper we give necessary and sufficient conditions for disturbance decoupling with stability using PID control laws of degree m (DDPS-PID(m)), from which directly follows the value of the minimal number of derivators
