Abstract
Many studies to explore the effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) exposure have been done, however, little information is available about the effect of transient magnetic fields. In order to explore the biological effect of transient magnetic waves we exposed mice to sinusoidal 50 Hz EMF and repetitive transient waves for 16 days and monitored leukocyte behavior by using a dorsal skinfold chamber (DSC) technique. The results indicated that repetitive transient magnetic field with 50 Hz EMF induced leukocytes endothelium interaction as we observed under the condition of pure 50 Hz EMF exposure. No specific effect of transient magnetic field was detected under this condition.
