Abstract
A recently approach on tobacco delivery and routing daily schedule is to employ single-multi information from mature technologies such as GIS or GPS. An important challenge arises when using more than one information resources: how can one ensure the consistent usage of data collected in a coherent fashion for the comprehensive tobacoo delivery platform? Tobacco industry requires a comprehensive delivery platform. The common shortcoming of current research is lack of multi-dimensional convergence of relevant information in tobacco delivery process. A novel model of tobacco delivery is proposed by using multi-dimensional information convergence of distribution lines and spatial database. The key benefits of the proposed model is to resolve the problem of delivery standardization of different delivery areas and equalize the operation volume among diverse delivery groups. Furthermore, the proposed model supervises visually the performance appraisal of staff and the process of appraisal. Experiment results show that the proposed model improves the efficiency of tobacco delivery and reduces the costs.
