Abstract :
Because of the many advantages, the vacuum switches have been widely used in industry. But the overvoltage caused by chopping current often worries the users. This paper proposes two kinds of method to measure chopping current, which are the waveform analysis method (WAM) and the resonance circuit method (RCM). The measuring principle and the parameter calculation of the main circuit are introduced. The computer-based measuring system for chopping current is also introduced.
