Abstract
We describe new single-pixel imaging techniques providing the spatial distribution of multiple optical properties of an input object. The key element of the method is a spatial light modulator that generates a set of intensity patterns to sample the object. The data is acquired with single-pixel detection and the theory of compressive sampling is applied to recover the image. In particular, we present a single-pixel hyperspectral imaging polarimeter. Our system provides spatially resolved measurements of the Stokes parameters for different spectral channels. In this case the spatial light modulator is a digital micromirror device, and the sensor is composed by polarizing elements followed by a commercial fiber spectrometer. Experimental results with our spectral polarimetric camera are provided for color objects with an inhomogeneous polarization distribution.
