Abstract :
This study uses a fast-Fourier transform method to calculate cardiac transmembrane potentials from extracellular potentials in two-dimensional, anisotropic tissue. Results show agreement between actual and recovered transmembrane potentials of 4% to 7% for activation arising from a single-point stimulus
