  • Abstract
    A cycle-slip resilient pilot-aided carrier phase estimation that achieves 4000km transmission is proposed for 16-QAM systems. We demonstrate that fast phase transition induced by ASE and nonlinear distortions are the main reasons of cycle-slips.
