Abstract
A method for checking the stability of large-scale interconnected systems is considered. The dissipativity approach is taken because results for both the internal and the external behavior of the interconnected system are desired. The novelty of the result lies in the ability to handle subsystems whose properties are known locally and not globally. The result has application in the study of the power system transient stability problem and can have possible applications in robust system analysis
