Abstract
Though the Dynamic Source Routing is efficient routing protocol in the wireless ad hoc networks when compared to Destination Sequenced Distance Vector Routing (DSDV), Ad hoc on Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV), Temporally Ordered Routing Algorithm (TORA) there are certain extensions that can be made to the basic Dynamic Source Routing that enables a better performance and less overhead compared to the previous ones.
