Abstract
The frequency response of a fiber-optic dielectric multilayer hydrophone is experimentally determined. The transfer function obtained can be applied to the deconvolution of measured time waveforms of broadband ultrasonic pulses. To improve the performance of the sensor system, modified sensor geometries are prepared and the frequency responses are determined
