Abstract
In this paper the theory for the extended horizon control of multivariable processes is described. An adaptive version of the algorithm using least squares parameter estimation is shown to be robust in the sense that it tolerates bounded output disturbances. The stability results apply to open loop stable processes, however there is no need to know the system interactor matrix.
