Abstract :
We report on sol-gel synthesis of barium-strontium titanate (BST) in porous anodic alumina. BST inside the channels of mesoporous matrices is considered as component allowing observation of phase transition under IR irradiation, thus, from our viewpoint, tunable photonic crystal for detection of IR irradiation could be developed. Sol-gel derived BST doped with terbium fabricated in porous anodic alumina exhibits room-temperature Tb-related photoluminescence (PL).
