Abstract
In this paper, stability analysis in a class of fractional-order autonomous chaotic systems is studied, using the fractional Routh-Hurwitz criteria. A necessary condition for these systems to remain chaotic is obtained. The fractional Routh-Hurwitz conditions are used to control chaos in the proposed systems to its equilibriums, using specific choice of linear controllers, it is shown that the fractional-order systems are controlled to its equilibrium points; however, its integerorder counterpart is not controlled. Numerical results show the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.
