Abstract :
With the city´s power load density increasing, 20 kV distribution network become a trend in medium voltage distribution network. From the viewpoint of power network planning, through comparative analyzing indexes, such as voltage degree, short circuit capacity, substation capacity, line corridors and substation layout, land occupation, investment costs, technical and economic indicators of the distribution network and so on, the influence of 20 kV medium voltage distribution network to power network planning is discussed in this paper.
