Abstract
In this paper, we present a biologically inspired self- organized implementation of the Blob structures on amorphous computers. Amorphous computers rely on asynchronous and spatially distributed processor sets where each processor broadcasts to communicate only with its local neighborhood. Blob machines are abstract parallel machines designed to exploit space. Our work-in-progress implementation relies on recruitment gradients to ensure the Blob consistency.
