Abstract :
A technique of dual-redundancy excitation mode in AVR of aero-generator is designed in this paper. PWM proportional excitation mode is used in main voltage regulation and oscillating excitation mode is used in backup voltage regulation. Aided excitation improves the performance of voltage buildup on the basis of self-excitation. The question of Aided excitation in practical application is analyzed and the solution is given. Experiments validate the performance of dual-redundancy excitation mode.
