Abstract :
For the cascaded multilevel STATCOM DC capacitor voltage balance, a pulse rotation DC capacitor voltage balance method based on CPS-PWM is introduced in this paper. On the basis of the method, a DC capacitor voltage control method using PI control for phase angle is proposed, which can modified the capacitor voltage offset of H-bridge to the equilibrium point. The simulation results show that the capacitor voltage balance control method is effective and feasible.
