Abstract :
The Indian fisheries sector is rapidly climbing up, as the result of its expanding nature and remarkable contribution to the country´s foreign exchange earnings and GDP. The database is user-friendly and powerful, and advanced compression techniques allow large quantities of data on one disc. This article will show how others can benefit from the advantages of CDROM database, online database publishing. Model for Indian Fisheries Information System (INFIS) has been suggested.
