Abstract :
According to the characteristic of large aspect ratio aircraft, an improved atmospheric turbulence simulation method is proposed. This method can not only calculate atmospheric turbulence value in the centroid of aircraft, but also calculate the numerical atmospheric turbulence at different positions of aircraft on the premise of satisfying the correlation. Using correlation function method generates a three-dimensional atmospheric turbulence field in the whole flight area firstly, which provides the atmospheric turbulence value in the centroid of aircraft. Then according to the atmospheric turbulence value in the centroid of aircraft and the correlations, the atmospheric turbulence values of two wings and empennage of aircraft are calculated using Monte Carlo method. The results show that the correlation of atmospheric turbulence values generated by this method is close to the theoretical value.
