Abstract :
This paper presents a 5.8GHz textile dipole antenna and textile artificial magnetic conductor (AMC). Designs, dipole antenna and AMC are using denim jeans as the substrate. The denim jean has 1.67 dielectric constant, 0.67mm of thickness and 0.0019 of loss tangent. Simulation and measurement results with different position of textile dipole antenna are compared to validate the performance of the AMC.
