Abstract :
In this paper, the author takes quadratic curves as an example to show the influence of 3D reconstruction strategy on the quality of 3D data obtained. First, the author presents a closed form solution for the 3D reconstruction of quadratic curves. The author then introduces the use of a planarity constraint in order to improve the quality of 3D data related to quadratic curves. At the end of the paper, the author uses one example to give a comparison of different 3D reconstruction strategies
