Abstract :
This paper proposes a dual-feed circular polarized (CP) patch antenna, which is fabricated by Glass-substrate Integrated Passive Device (GIPD) process to reduce antenna total size to 3 mm × 4.7 mm. The circular polarized mechanism includes a thin metal strip and a metal stub to achieve a good axial ratio of 0.4 dB. The impedance and axial ratio bandwidth are approximately 4.2% and 3.7%. The antenna gain and radiated efficiency of the proposed circular polarized antenna at 60 GHz are approximately 4 dBi and 70%.
