Abstract
The correlation between the desired signal and unwanted interferences exists in situations of multipath and deliberate jamming, and it can degrade the performance of an antenna array significantly. The most of the previous work to decorrelate the correlated arrivals has been for the narrowband case. The paper proposes and analyses a method to decorrelate the correlated broadband directional sources. The method exploits the structure of the array correlation matrix to achieve the performance improvement.<>
