Abstract
In this paper, an optical single sideband (OSSB) transmitter based on optical filtering is optimized in order to deliver successful an hybrid OSSB signal composed by a custom 16-quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) gigabit Ethernet (GbE) a 20 MHz 64-QAM LTE channel and three channels OFDM-UWB of the first group of ECMA-386. An optimization of drive power of the different signals is required in order to overcome the inter-modulation distortion of the signals more affected.
