Abstract
Military training plays an important role in the military activities. Interservice process for instructional systems development (IPISD) proved to be effective for developing training courses. The IDEF0 methodology can provide a structured approach for breaking a complex system into more elemental components that are simple to deal with. In order to make the development of military training system scientific and efficient, based on the IPISD process and the use of the IDEF0 modeling technique, PADDIE model, a theory framework for the development of military training system, is proposed. The theory framework provides a basis for the further study on the establishment of the effective, cost-efficient military training system.
