Abstract :
The purpose of the California ISO intermittent resources program is to ensure the successful integration of wind generation and other renewable resources with the planning, market, and operation of the power grid. This paper addresses the market integration and operational wind integration issues in California and briefly discusses the transmission interconnection issues.
