Abstract :
The moon-earth communication link budget is usually referenced in the selection and configuration of the hardware of transmitting and receiving stations. This paper provides a budget method and designs a budget process of communication link between lunar detectors and ground stations. Besides, the paper provides a method to design the parameters of ground stations, detectors and communication channels. To implement the link budget more efficiently, some calculation elements including atmospheric loss, free space loss and hot body noise is modeled and analyzed. The result of the paper is fairly valuable for the design of moon-earth communication link.
