Abstract :
The hydraulic gauge control system of the tantalum-niobium tube straightener is introduced in this paper, in which the proportional valves are applied to control the force and position. Modeling and simulation of the hydraulic system is carried out with the DSHplus simulation tool according to the design parameters. During the simulation, it is found that the response performance of the hydraulic system varies greatly when straightening tubes in different diameters. In order to obtain a better control performance, the relay feedback method is adopted to tune the PID parameters, which is proved to be simple and effective.
