Abstract :
The spatial diversity of multistatic systems and the development of efficient fusion strategies have increased the research interest in Non Cooperative Target Recognition (NCTR) techniques. This paper proposes a correlation-based classification algorithm where the information on the target class is provided by the sensors of the system and the final decision is made using a fusion rule that combines the decisions coming from each channel. The proposed fusion rule selects the channels with the best performance and discard those with the worst ones.
