Abstract
The BER performance of a previously proposed indirect cochannel interference canceller (ICIC) in the AWGN channel, is explained by signal space representation. Except for a special case, a fully geometrical representation is not possible. Minimum signal envelope distance has been exploited to explain some of the ICIC receiver´s performance. The effect of different parameters on the minimum envelope distance is investigated
