Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new version of a complete processing chain for simple building reconstruction, from a couple of HR optical and SAR satellite images. This new version, based on a symmetrization process, jointly uses the optical and SAR components inside three steps of processing (building detection, height estimation and qualification). We demonstrate that the introduction of such innovating points improves the efficiency, reliability and robustness of the chain, that provides better results of reconstruction.
