Abstract :
Multiple block coded modulation (MBCM) using 16-PSK constellation has been studied. Examples of two- and three-symbols/branch MBCM are given. These schemes produce both better bandwidth efficiency and larger minimum squared Euclidean distance than uncoded QPSK. A code structure that is suited to fading channels is also presented. The performance of these schemes under fading channels is investigated
