Abstract
uTESLA is one of the most important protocols in wireless sensor network. uTESLA protocol applies symmetric cryptosystem and key delay to broadcasting authentication, which cannot prevent DoS attack from adversary. A double filtering mechanism is proposed to safely authenticate message, that is, this mechanism is checked to find and exclude some unintended or forged messages from malicious nodes by two-phase filter before the coming of keys. The simulation result shows that the mechanism can effectively filter useless messages from malicious nodes and improve the secure performance of uTESLA protocol.
